Time never waits

Admit it, when you were a kid, at least once, you had ever wished you could instantly transform to an adult. I did. But I think it's human nature to never be satisfied. Now at 16, I wish I could rewind the time or just let it stay still.

Last week, I went back to my old house to clear out my bookshelf. Yes, it had been almost a year and my comics and magazines were still in my dear old bookshelf. Thanks to SEALNET who's collecting used books to be donated to an orphanage, I was finally determined to let my books breathe fresh air ! I went there with my brother and housemaid, in the end, all the bags and boxes we took were full with books. This was not a surprise, as in the old times, our greatest joy was going to Gramedia to grab Doraemon, Conan, or Donald Duck comic books. I used to like Bobo and Ino magazines as well :( I couldn't help but cry while sorting those books. They reminded me of my childhood, how I loved reading so much, how I gradually had less time to read.

Just so you know, I intended this post to be about my 16th birthday on 7 April. Today, it's 6 May, so this post is late, like really really late.
Went for dinner with some close friends the night before my birthday.

Didn't expect another surprise on my birthday as they had made one at the restaurant. And thanks to their impressive acting skill, I was completely clueless about the surprises !

Got a guitar as my birthday present ! :) will need to find time for a lesson later on.

April is like the "party month" for people around me. Got 8 birthday parties or treats last month alone.

Time flies, it's 11 months to my 17th !

"perfect" Saturday afternoon -- true story

This afternoon I was going to have my piano lesson which starts at 3. When I was ready to go, I couldn't find my driver. Because he just started work, I didn't have his phone number yet, so I tried calling my mother. She didn't answer. I called my father, he was meeting a client. It was getting late, so I texted my teacher to inform my absence. 5 minutes later, my driver appeared out of nowhere. And my stubborn brother insisted on me going -_- so okay. There I went. It was raining cats and dogs and I was a bit soaked upon entering Era Musika building. I rushed upstairs, only to find every room empty. I sighed, my teacher was probably afraid of the demonstrations as well. I went back to the main entrance, and asked my waiting driver to take me home. The security officer grinned at me saying : "Did you forget it's the 5th week of the month?" ".....really?" Oh My God..... So I had "strived" my way here for nothing. "Nevermind....when I get home I will soon forget this." I told myself. But why did my driver take so long to move the car from the parking lot? The security officer went to him to ask what happened. And as if all of these weren't enough, the car broke down. No matter how hard he tried, the engine wouldn't start. Yes.

Great.

First, I thought I was late. Then I rushed to my class only to realize there's no lesson. And the car broke down just in time. So I was stuck there, in the middle of the rain.

I went back inside, unbelievably tranquil. Things couldn't be worse, could they? I called my brother to seek for help. A few minutes later, my father rang me up and I handed my phone to my driver, who told him what was going on. My father then said he was going to fetch me. And 30 minutes later, he finally arrived. I sat inside his car.....safe and sound :) lol I love dad.

When I finally arrived home relieved, I went straight to my room. I clicked the lamp switch.....but hey.....? Blackout?
